Even though I've been in the wedding videography game for quite a while now, I always find there are still firsts out there to experience. This was my first Catholic ceremony and I had been told they can be quite long, but to be honest it was a lovely service and the 5 hours completely flew by.
I knew I was in for a treat when I found out the groom was Irish, and I knew the bar at Swallows Nest Barn would need to replenish it's stock to maximum levels. Another first for me was filming at this brilliant and relatively new venue. Absolutely perfect for a summer wedding, with big glass windows and a great courtyard for mingling outside until the small hours.
I think Faye was a tad concerned that I was a bit quiet on the day, but who can get a word in edge ways when excruciatingly talented photographer Amy Taylor is on the scene orchestrating her painfully good pictures?
